Shavuot (Pinksteren) komt al weer dichtbij!

Beste vrienden!
Wat betekent dit voor ons als Joods volk?
Allereerst is het het feest van de oogst, waar we G-d danken voor de regen in de winter en het goede graan, fruitsoorten en groenten die we uit het heilige land gekregen hebben.
Op die dag uiten we ons gebed van dank en we geven elkaar een mand vol fruit van de aarde die net zijn geoogst en ook melkproducten
Deze feestdag symboliseert de directe verbinding tussen G-d en het Joodse volk en de zegen die de Al-machtige elk jaar geeft.
Ten tweede het geven van de Torah door Mozes toen hij van de berg Sinaï af kwam. Deze aparte verbinding verbergt de eeuwige connectie tussen Israël en G-d. Hiervan moeten we ons herinneren het belangrijkste gebod over relaties tussen mensen: als een mens zijn groeten over je uitspreekt en alle goeds, is het ook de manier waarop G-d ons zijn liefde toont. En het tegenovergestelde: als we op een heilige inspiratie genade geven, werkt G-d ook door ons...!
We zijn in Stichting LeChaim-to-life bezig met het zorgen voor de overlevenden ook tijdens de feestdagen en we herinneren u eraan: Uw hulp is de reden dat we dit kunnen doen.

Dear friends!
What does it mean to us- as a Jewish people?
First of all, it is the festival of the harvest, when we thank G-d for the rainy winter and the wonderful grain, fruits and vegetables we had influenced from the holy land
On that day, we express our prayer of thanks and we give each other a basket, full of fruits from the earth which just, were harvested and also dairy products. This holiday, symbolize the direct connection between G-d and the Jewish people, the recognition of the abundance and health the biblical agriculture bring, and the blessing that the All-mighty brings yearly.
Secondly the giving of the Torah by Moshe when he came down from Mt. Sinai.
This exceptional assembling, concealed the eternal connection between Israel and G-d. From this, we should remember the most important command about relationship between people: when a human being pours on you greetings and all goods, it is also, the way G-d shows us His love. And the opposite: when we are on a sacred inspiration giving grace, G-d works through us…!
We are in Amutat "Lchaim", takes care of the survivors through all the holidays, and remind you: your support is the reason we can do it.
